AAI: In order to minimize damage to the airport infrastructure & avoid inconvenience to passengers, we've decided to suspend flight operations at airports in Porbandar, Diu, Bhavnagar, Keshod & Kandla from today midnight till tomorrow midnight.
Wind speed expected to be up to 175 km per hour. Three lakh people will be evacuated by 4 PM across 10 districts. Landfall expected by 8:00 AM tomorrow (June 13), TV reports.
Cyclone Vayu: Flight operations from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to Porbandar, Diu, Kandla, Mundra and Bhavnagar are cancelled for tomorrow.
IMP Notice: Please note that in view of expected Vayu Cyclone in Gujarat covering Veraval, Okha, Porbandar, Bhavnagar and Bhuj/Gandhidham, all Passenger & M/Exp trains to these stations will be short terminated/canceled after 18:00 hrs of 12/06/19 to morning of 14/06/19.
