Ministry of Defence has banned all transactions and dealings with fugitive arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari’s firm Offset India Solutions (P) Ltd & its Group Companies/functionaries until further orders. There are multiple allegations of corruption against his firms.

Hours after the Bharatiya Janata Party senior leaders tweeted about former Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj becoming the next governor of Andhra Pradesh, the Swaraj has denied those claims and stated that the reports are not true. Clearing the air over her appointment as the new Andhra Pradesh governor, she took to Twitter and wrote, "The news about my appointment as Governor of Andhra Pradesh is not true."

Raut was of the opinion that the entire country should listen to him and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath when Ram Temple issue is concerned as they are 'Supreme'.
