New Delhi, January 5: The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Sunday imposed fine of Rs 100 cr on Meghalaya government for failing to curb Illegal coal mining. The NGT, in its order, said that the fine amount can be recovered from illegal miners and responsible officials and it has to be deposited in the Central pollution control board within 2 months.
