Mumbai, December 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will address the nation in the 52nd edition of monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at 11 am. The programme will be air through All India Radio and would also be broadcast on Doordarshan. Along with this, people can also listen to the programme will also be streamed on the YouTube channels of the Prime Minister's Office, Information and Broadcasting Ministry, AIR and DD News.

Along with this, PM Modi will also visit Madurai on Sunday to lay the foundation stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The new AIIMS in Madurai will be built at the cost of Rs 1,264, and the construction will be completed by September 2022. It will have a capacity of 100 MBBS seats and 60 BSc (Nursing) seats. According to the information, the premier will also inaugurate the super speciality blocs of Rajaji Medical College, Madurai; Thanjavur Medical College and Tirunelveli Medical College.

In another news, Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday denied entry to six senior photo and video journalists working for top national and international media organisations in Srinagar from covering Republic Day function at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium. After the incident, the journalist community in Srinagar boycotted the Republic Day ceremony in the city. Police have said that the barred journalists were “adverse”.
