Ministry of Health: ICMR-NIV Pune has informed that 4 samples (2 from Mumbai, 1 each from Bengaluru & Hyderabad) have tested negative for #coronavirus. One of the Mumbai patients has tested positive for Rhinovirus, one of the routine common cold viruses.

Ministry of Health&Family Welfare: As on 24 Jan, 20,844 passengers from 96 flights have been screened for Novel #coronavirus symptoms. Today, 4082 passengers were screened in 19 flights. No case detected in the country so far. However, 3 persons have been put under observation.
Several people have been injured and some were likely to be killed in a shooting in southwestern Germany. According to police, the suspect has been arrested.

India on Thursday raised concerns over the planned protest by pro-Pakistani groups outside the Indian Embassy in London. The Indian High Commissioner took up the matter with the authorities in the United Kingdom. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in a statement said India had alerted the UK authorities about the need to secure premises of the Indian Embassy in London.
