In Uttar Pradesh, women continued to sit near Clock Tower to protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC). Earlier in the day, Anil Samania, Circle Officer (CO) of Aligarh Civil Lines stated that some women tried to stage protest against Citizenship Amendment Act and National Population Register, which is violation of Section 144. So, an FIR has been registered against 60-70 unknown women.
