A telecommunications blackout in the Gaza Strip has entered its sixth day, the longest continuous outage since the Israel-Hamas war began, internet monitor NetBlocks says. Gaza’s internet services have been constantly disrupted throughout the war, now in its fourth month.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu on January 19 and launch multiple development projects in the three states, said an official release on Wednesday. The first flight of Air India Express from Kolkata arrived in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya today, January 17. A few passengers who travelled from Kolkata to Ayodhya said that slogans of "Jai Shree Ram" were raised by everyone on the flight.
