New Delhi, February 28: In continuation with the ongoing tension between Indian and Pakistan, following the actions taken after Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan on Thursday morning again violated the ceasefire in Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. As per to the latest information, the gunfire between the two sides was underway till 7 am, and no reports of casualties have been reported as of yet.

In another news, Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will leave for UAE on Thursday to participate in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting as the Guest of Honour. This is the first time in the last 50 years that the global conglomeration of Islamic nations have called India to their meeting, as Indian is not an official member. With Swaraj’s acceptance of the invitation to attend the event, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had threatened to boycott the meeting. After Imran Khan's Pitch For Talks, India Hands Over Dossier to Pakistan With Details of JeM Role in Pulwama Attack. 

Following the capture of Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhi Nandan by Pakistani forces on Wednesday, all the government and private schools within a range of five kilometres from the international border will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. This is seen as a precautionary step was taken by the state administration amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
