The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said that an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Southern Xinjiang region of China this evening. According to the NCS, the tremors were felt at about 9:08 pm.

In a tragic incident in Alipur, Delhi, a fire broke out in two godowns storing paint and chemicals, leading to the death of 11 individuals. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed by the Fire Department.
The victims were immediately rushed to Babu Jagjeevan Ram Hospital. In addition to the fatalities, four individuals sustained injuries in the incident and have been moved to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital for treatment.
