New Delhi, December 31: Indian Army on Monday said it foiled a major intrusion attempt by Border Action Team (BAT) to strike a forward post along LoC in Naugam Sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday and killed two of them. The Army informed that the intruders were dressed in BSF and old uniforms of Indian Army, intended to carry out a gruesome attack on the Indian Army.
Meanwhile, on the last day of the year, petrol prices saw a drop and were at its lowest at Rs 68.84/litre on Monday. The price of petrol recorded Rs 68.84/litre in the national capital and Rs 74.47/litre in Mumbai. Also, the diesel prices were reduced in Delhi, and it is being sold at Rs 62.86/litre.
