Mumbai, December 28: The Anti-Corruption Branch of Karnataka state police is conducting raids at 17 locations at the residences of five government officials on Friday. Based on a tip, the anti-graft agency is conducting raids at Bengaluru, Chintamani, Mysuru, Hunsur, Udupi, Davanagere, Chikkamagaluru, Mangaluru and Karwar.
A vehicle in Tehri of Uttarakhand fell in the gorge on Thursday night after it lost the control and due to this three people died on the spot, said police on Friday. According to the initial reports, all the victims worked on a project of laying electricity wires and were returning to the base camp, when the incident took place near Banali village late in the evening. The police said that all the victims – Sachin, Ankur and Harjeet – were from Haridwar.
