Mumbai, August 17: With the much-talked United Nations Security Council closed-door meeting on abrogation of special provisions of Jammu and Kashmir concluded on Friday, global body suggested a 'bilateral' solution between India and Pakistan. India in its turn made it clear that in order for talks to begin with Pakistan, it will first have to 'stop terror to start talks'. The closed-door meeting was attended the representatives of the five superpowers namely China, Russia, France, United Kingdom and the United States.

In another news, former Union finance minister Arun Jaitley's health remains to be critical on Friday night. Suffering from a kidney disorder, Jaitley had been admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences for over a week and is currently on life support. In order to know the health update of the BJP stalwart, Home Minister Amit Shah, health minister Harsh Vardhan and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited AIIMS. The 66-year-old had in 2018 undergone a kidney transplant, which forced him to take a sabbatical leave from the Modi government.
