According to a latest update by ANI, 23 cattle have been rescued in a raid in Shahgunj in Aurangabad. Sambhaji Pawar, Inspector, City Chowk Police Station said, "We had received info that some cattle were held hostage, 23 cattle were rescued by police. Meanwhile, in Karnataka, the rail transport on the section between Sakleshpur and Subramanya stations has been affected adversely due to landslides and soil erosion on multiple spots. In Odisha, freedom fighter Dayanidhi Nayak passed away on Saturday at the age of 95 in Bargarh. According to reports, the veteran leader was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bargarh for age related ailments and was ailing for past one month. He is survived by his only daughter Swarupa Nayak.
