India rejected Pakistan’s claims of alleged human rights violation in Jammu and Kashmir during the 42nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Ministry of External Affairs’ (MEA) Secretary (East) Vijay Thakur Singh, termed Islamabad’s allegations as false. “A delegation has given a running commentary with offensive rhetoric of false allegations & concocted charges against my country,” Singh said on Tuesday while referring to Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s speech at the UNHRC.
