New Delhi, October 23: The air quality in Delhi deteriorates further with the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 387 in Anand Vihar, 333 in RK Puram, 391 in Rohini and 390 in Dwarka. All the four were in 'very poor' category, as per Delhi Pollution Control Committee data.  In Maharashtra, two fire personnel injured during the firefighting operation at a mall in Mumbai's Nagpada area. Talking about the India-China situation, Principal Dy Assistant Secy in Bureau of South & Central Asian Affairs on India-US 2+2 dialogue said that the  situation on Line of Actual Control (LAC) will probably be discussed at some point. "We’re watching situation closely. I think both sides have expressed desire to de-escalate violence", the official added.

"In process of finalizing lot of discussions, BECA & other agreements are in works. Will not commit anything right now, we do expect to have many items highlighted as we go through Michael Pompeo & Mark Esper's trip to India", the official further added.
