Ahmednagar, November 25: In a shocking incident, a leopard entered a house in Pimpalgoan Rota village of Parner Taluka in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar. The feline while chasing a dog entered the house and created panic in the area on Saturday, November 23. After a span of four hours, the leopard was rescued by the forest department and the Wildlife SOS organisation, the mid-day reported. Leopard Spotted in Thane Again! According to the report, Dilip Jagtap, a farmer, said that the leopard chased their pet dog and entered the house. Luckily, the dog escaped from the back dog. Jagtap then locked all the doors so that Leopard could not harm anyone. He also alerted the "forest department." "We noticed and inspected and found that leopard had sat in the rooftop shelves and was testing how to move out. By 9.30 pm we were on the spot will full equipment and rescued him," Ahmednagar Forest Range officer Sunil Thete told mid-day.
The Leopard was examined and was found to be a four-year-old male. The animal was initially handed over to a nursery in Ahmednagar, who later released it back to the forest.
