Ranchi, November 3: After filing a divorce petition, Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, is set to meet his father in Ranchi on Saturday. On Friday, Tej Pratap had approached a civil court in Patna for seeking a divorce from his wife Aishwarya Rai just six months after his wedding. According to reports, Tej Pratap is on its way to Ranchi where his father is lodged in a jail in connection with the multi-crore scam.
According to the sources, upon hearing the news of the son's divorced petition, the health of RJD chief deteriorated, so Tej left for Ranchi this morning. Tej Pratap's divorce petition has been listed for hearing on November 29. While speaking to media his lawyer Yashwant Kumar Sharma said, "I cannot give many details about the case. I was only told by my client that he and his wife were not fit together and hence he wanted a divorce." No member of the family was available for a comment. Tej Pratap had tied the knot with Aishwarya Rai on 12 May 2018. Aishwarya is the granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai.
