Kolkata, July 23: In a shocking incident from Kolkata, a 28-year-old insurance tele-calling agent working for a reputed insurance brand in the city, jumped off the seventh-floor window of her office on Monday morning and died. According to a Times of India report, the woman before taking the step sent a WhatsApp message to her husband asking him if he knows about her financial details and bank PIN numbers. Reportedly, the woman was suffering from depression and she joined work after a two-day break. She wanted to bear a child, but due to her medical conditions and financial crisis, she was not in a stable frame of mind. All her colleagues are in a state of shock. Her husband was out of a job for the last six months.
To tide over the financial crisis, the woman had moved out of her in-law's house and was staying at her parent's place. According to relatives quoted in the report, the husband-wife duo belonged to different communities and religion and shared a strong bonding with each other. It was only that recently there have been some differences that started between the couple. However, police have not found this as a strong reason to suspect that all was not well between the two.
