Kolkata, December 27: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old girl alleged that she was followed her outside the Kalighat Metro station and clicked objectionable pictures. According to a Times of India report, the girl a resident of Behala had just got off from her auto, when the incident took place at around 2 pm.

She was walking towards her university when she noticed a man clicking her photos on his mobile phone from different angles. She raised an alarm and directly confronted the man and took him to an officer who was standing at the Rashbehari crossing. The woman refused to lodge a case when she was at the police station and the man has been detained on the basis of her allegations that he was clicking objectionable photos outside Kalighat metro station. Over the last few months, there has been an increase in crimes outside various Metro stations in Kolkata. A woman recently complained that she was molested inside a Metro coach. In another similar incident, a girl was outside the Dum Dum Metro station along with her mother and a friend, when a 64-year-old man tried to shoot a video of her outside the Metro station complex.
