Kolkata, January 6: In a shocking piece of news, BJP leader and former Bolpur MP has been accused of molestation, theft, assault and criminal intimidation, after his alleged involvement in a bar brawl. He was partying with his friends in a Central Kolkata pub when the incident took place.

Hazra, on the other hand, has denied all the allegations levelled against him in a telephonic conversation with LatestLY and has said that it was actually the complainant who misbehaved with him, and was shooting his video without taking his permission. He further expressed his astonishment at how the facts were twisted and police lodged a case without verifying the facts. After the incident, Hazra came Live on Facebook, narrated the entire incident and said that the complaint was politically motivated and he would file a counter-complaint.

According to a Times of India report, the victim Suresh Roy, a Kasba resident, shared that he saw Hazra partying with a few women inside the pub and wanted to take his pictures. The latter objected to it and his security guards forced him to delete the photos from his mobile.

An altercation started, following which Hazra kicked and punched him. Hazra and his men broke Roys' mobile, damaged his car and also threatened to kill him. The assault allegedly didn't end here, as Roy accused Hazra of molesting a female friend who was accompanying him.
