Kolkata, May 13: Chaos and uncertainty gripped Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Monday after its server -FIDS - went down. Due to this, over 20 flights were delayed and the IT team working on the issue.
According to the initial details, the airlines are issuing manual tickets for the time being as its FIDS (Flight Information Display System) and cameras are not working. Due to this technical glitch, over 20 flights delayed have been delayed. The issue erupted around 5:15 pm after which all airlines started issuing boarding pass manually. Meanwhile, the Kolkata airport authorities have stated that their IT teams are looking into teh issue. It is to be known that a few days ago, New Delhi' IGI airport too faced a similar situation, where its server 'SITA' went down.
