Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing the farmers at Jantar Mantar said that if required, people should change the Union government. He was of the opinion that PM Modi cheated the farmers and sought the implementation of Swaminathan Committee.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi joins farmers protest at Jantar Mantar and would soon address the people. He is most likely to attack the Narendra Modi-led Union government.

Gurudwaras in Delhi - Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Sis Ganj Sahib, Rakabganj, Bap Sahib and Majnu Ka Tila - have announced accommodation to protesting farmers for the night. Along with this they have also made special arrangements to provide foods to the farmers.

CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury while addressing the farmers rally at Jantar Mantar called PM Narendra Modi-led Union government the most anti-farmer ever and opined that it must go.
