As per the report, Nishant, a resident of Behror whose blood group was B-positive was unable to receive a kidney from his mother Lalita Devi as her blood group was O-positive. In a similar way, Kanwar's son Mahipal Singh received a kidney from Sriganganagar’s Gauri Shankar while Shankar's wife Rajni Sharma received a kidney from Munni Devi of Jhunjhunu. On the other hand, Munni Devi’s daughter Preeti Soni received a kidney from Ramesh Chand, a resident of Jaipur. While Chand’s patient Usha Shakya received a kidney from Nishant's mother Lalita Devi.
While swapping kidneys was the most difficult task, the process became smooth when all the families agreed to the kidney transplants among each other.
