Kerala Horror: Minor Girl Raped by 30 Men For 2 Years, Chilling Details Emerge At Counselling Session in Her School

Kerala, September 26: A shocking case of sexual assault against a minor girl has come to the front, where a 12-year-old girl in Malappuram was repeatedly raped by atleast 30 men in the last two years. According to a Times of India report, the sexual abuse started when the girl was just 10 years old and the incident came to the light when she recently opened up to a woman during a counselling session in her school. After that, she has been taken away to a shelter home.

A medical examination confirmed that she was raped and is a victim of sexual abuse and assault. The counsellor to whom she confided was shocked to hear the trauma which the little girl had gone through and the guilt which was in her for not being able to help her family overcome the financial crisis. Reportedly, the father of the child first drove her mother into prostitution and used to bring men to rape her daughter in exchange for money. She was first raped by her father's friend who gave them money and after that, there were several others. When neighbours were asked about this family, they admitted that they could feel that something was amiss, but chose to ignore. They heard cries of the girl and often saw men coming out of their house. The girl in school also stayed very quiet and didn't mingle with others. Her mother came to pick her up from school and was always by her side to probably ensure she doesn't tell anyone about the assault. After the incident came to the fore, the father and other people involved were arrested, but the mother vehemently ignored that such abuse took place and wanted her daughter back.
