One such incident has taken place with a couple who recently got married in Kerala's Cherupuzha locality. Juby Joseph and Anoop Sebastian from Kerala, found their wedding picture becoming a subject of distorted claims and made up lies for ulterior motives of others. Juby Joseph and Anoop Sebastian got married on February 4, 2019. Juby works in Sharjah and Anup has a job in Chandigarh, according to a report in The News Minute. However, from almost the next day onwards rumours started on WhatsApp that Juby's age is 48-years-old whereas Anoop's age is 25. The fake message read: "“Woman’s age 48… Man’s age 25… Woman’s asset worth Rs 25 crore… Dowry 101 sovereigns Rs 50 lakh… The rest will follow… A marriage that happened in our own Cherupuzha.”
But the couple have decided to go to the root of who spread this fake news and is adamant on bringing the culprit to justice. News portal TheNewsMinute quoted a source saying that investigation is underway in the case and that the police will arrest the culprit very soon.
