Kerala, July 26: In a shocking cold-blooded murder case in the state, a 30-year old woman was murdered by her lover, an Army man and his friend and then buried behind his home. Reportedly, the decomposed body of the deceased Rekha Mol was found by police near key accused Akhil Nair's home, which is 40 kilometres away from Thiruvananthapuram city. After the body was buried, saplings were even planted on top of the body to ward off any suspicion. The duo got into a relationship a few years back, but it was recently that Akhil didn't want to continue with it. He also went and got engaged to another woman, which Rekha came to know about it. She went and told Akhil's new partner about it and the engagement was called off.
On that fateful day, Rekha was returning from her home, when she met Akhil and his friend, and she got into the car. She was strangulated inside the car and Akhil kept moving the accelerator so that no one got to hear her loud cries. She was then buried behind the main accused's home.
