Kannur, November 12: Around 50 police personnel were injured Monday when the roof of an auditorium in a beach resort here collapsed during a camp for them.

The police personnel were taking part in a study camp organised at the resort by the district committee of a police association. Faulty construction was suspected to be the cause of the mishap, the police said. Delhi: Couple Dies, 3 Children Injured After House Roof Collapses in Dwarka.

Three of the injured were admitted to a hospital in neighbouring Mangaluru while the others with minor wounds were treated as outpatients at a local hospital, they said. A case was registered against the owner of the resort, they added.
