Karnataka: Compound Wall Collapses in Mangaluru, Two Children Killed

Two children were killed after a boundary wall of a residence collapsed on a house on Sunday, September 8, at Shivanagara area in Karnataka's Mangaluru. The deceased were identified as 7-year-old Varshini and 8-year-old Vedanth.

Mangaluru, September 8: Two children were killed after a boundary wall of a residence collapsed on a house on Sunday, September 8, at Shivanagara area in Karnataka's Mangaluru. The deceased were identified as 7-year-old Varshini and 8-year-old Vedanth. According to reports, both the children were studying in their room when the incident took place. The 20-feet-wall surrounding the house fell on it and crushed the kids. Earlier this month, a 35-year-old woman was killed in Mumbai's Malad and four people were injured after a wall collapse. The incident was caused due to a cylinder explosion. The victim was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
