Kapil Mishra, Rebel AAP MLA, Disqualified From Delhi Assembly Under Anti-Defection Law
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Delhi's Karawal Nagar Kapil Mishra has been disqualified from Delhi Legislative Assembly on the grounds of defection. Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel issued an order to disqualify him under the 10th Schedule to the Constitution, also known as 'Anti-Defection Law'.
Delhi, August 2: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Delhi's Karawal Nagar, Kapil Mishra has been disqualified from Delhi Legislative Assembly on the grounds of defection. Earlier, Chief Minister Arvid Kejriwal on Sunday while addressing a gathering said that AAP’s youngest Political Affairs Committee (PAC) member Durgesh Pathak will be contesting the upcoming assembly elections from Karawal Nagar.
