Kanpur: Boiler Blast at Factory in Panki Leaves 1 Dead, 4 Critically Injured

Lucknow, August 13:  In an unfortunate incident that took place in Kanpur on Tuesday, one person died and four people are critically injured after a boiler at a factory in Panki exploded. According to an ANI tweet, the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The factory deals in the construction of parts of the train. More details on this matter are awaited. There have been several instances of boiler bursting before as well. In April, a boiler exploded in an Ordnance factory in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur city. The accident left one person dead and at least four injured. The blast took place in the Vijay Nagar area of the industrial city.

Last month, one person was killed while 11 people sustained burn injuries, and two of them were severely injured, in a steel furnace blast near Ramgarh village.  One of the critically injured victims was rushed to the PGIMER, Chandigarh, and the other had to be admitted to another hospital for treatment.
