Lucknow, October 20: Kusum Tiwari, the mother of killed Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari, has accused Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of exhibiting an apathetic approach in his meeting with the bereaved family. Earlier on Sunday, Kusum along with his daughter-in-law and grandson met Yogi to discuss the measures enacted by the government to crackdown on all the culprits. During the Chief Minister, as per the officials, assured the family that the state will leave no stone unturned to ensure justice and slap the strictest punishment on those involved in the crime.

"In our society, kins (after any death) don’t go out for 13 days. But many cops came and forced us to go meet CM at his residence. There was no expression of concern or seriousness on his face. I am completely disappointed...I will pick up sword if justice is not done," she said.

In another video of Kusum Tiwari which surfaced on Saturday, she is seen accusing a local BJP leader, Shiv Kumar Gupta, of being at loggerheads with his son. She even alleged that his son's repeated requests to the Yogi Adityanath government to increase his security cover remained unheeded.

Kamlesh Tiwari was shot dead on Friday afternoon by two men - who are yet to be nabbed. Five others, who were allegedly part of the conspiracy to assassinate him, have been arrested. Of those held, three were apprehended from Gujarat. Their identities are: aulana Mohsin Sheikh (24), Rasheed Ahmed Pathan (23) and Faizan (21). Two others - Mufti Naeem Kazmi and Imam Maulana Anwarul - were held from Bijnor.
