Saharanpur, August 18: Journalists' lives are always on risk for reporting against the wrongdoing. In the latest, journalist Ashish Janwani and his brother shot dead by unidentified assailants in Saharanpur on Sunday morning. The miscreants have fled the spot after shooting the place soon after the incident.
According to the initial details, the incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district. Though the reason for the incident is yet to known, state police have launched an investigation and manhunt for the trace the investigation. This is not the first incident in India where the journalists have been shot down for doing their duty. Earlier, Shujaat Bukhari in Jammu and Kashmir and Gauri Lankesh in Karnataka were murdered in the same fashion by miscreants.
