Jodhpur, July 3: The former Rajmata of the Marwaad Gharana, Krishna Kumari, passed away after she suffered a heart-attack at the age of 92. She was unwell for a long time and had to be admitted to a hospital after she suffered a heart attack on Monday morning. According to media reports, she suffering a heart attack again in the hospital on Monday evening which led to her death. It is reported that Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, will be in Jodhpur to pay her final respects to the former Rajmata.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje tweeted and offered her condolence by paying tribute to Rajmata Krishna Kumari:

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the unfortunate news:

Former Rajmata Krishna Kumari was elected to the Lok Sabha as the Member of Parliament (MP) in 1971 as an independent candidate. Krishna Kumari was born on 10 February, 1926 in Gujarat and was married on 14 February 1943 in Jodhpur to the earstwhile Naresh Hanuwant Singh. The Rajmata is survived by her three children, including one son and two daughters.
