Jodhpur, October 3: A mentally disturbed man allegedly killed his wife and son over a family dispute and attempted to commit suicide by hanging self, but couldn't gain the courage to tie the noose. According to the police, Suresh, the accused, killed his wife and 8-year-old son with stone-cutter in Jodhpur on Monday night. The man is said to be mentally disturbed and the reason for the murder is yet to be known. Jodhpur police have taken Suresh into custody for further investigation. According to the police, Suresh lived with his family near Gate Number 2 of Nandhri Goshala in Jodhpur. He was working as a construction worker. He was living with his wife and son identified as Teja Devi and Vikram, while his mother and brother lived in a different room of the same house. Man Arrested for Double Murder in Delhi.
On Tuesday morning, when Suresh's mother and brother found Vikram and Teja lying in a pool of blood, they immediately informed the police. The police, upon reaching, found the bodies two with throats slit. Seeing the stains on hand grinder and cloth hanging from the fan, the police arrested Suresh on the charges of murder.
According to police, Suresh was married to Teja for nine years. It was reported that he was going through some financial problems and family dispute for a long time. Some reports said that the dispute for property is still on. The police have arrested Suresh and are interrogating him to know the motive behind the double murder.
