Jharkhand Lynching: Man Beaten to Death for Cutting Flesh of Dead Bull, 3 Injured

Gumla, April 11: One person was killed and three others were injured Thursday after villagers in Jharkhand's Gumla district beat them up, alleging that they were cutting flesh of a dead bull, police said. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Lakra, Superintendent of Police, Gumla, Anjani Kumar Jha said. Police said a special investigation team has been set up to look into the incident.

Homkar said some people have been detained for interrogation. The injured persons have been admitted to the Sadar Hospital here.
