New Delhi, October 15: In a horrific incident, a cattle trader from Jharkhand's Giridih district has been allegedly killed by unidentified attackers. According to the daily Prabhat Khabar, the body of the victim was found with his throat slit by the Pirtand police station in Giridih on Monday. According to reports, the assailants had written 'dalaal (agent)' on the vest worn of the victim. RJD Leader Dina Gope Shot Dead in Patna by Unidentified Gunmen.
Reports inform that the victim was identified as Rameshwar Miyan. When the police found the deceased, his hands were tied. Miyan's relative informed officials that he had gone to Harladih in Jharkhand on a motorbike. However, the officials are yet to recover his motorbike. Relatives told police that he had taken a loan of Rs 50,000 a couple of days ago. Police are now investigating the connection between the money borrowed and the attack on him. Earlier, Jharkhand's Giridih was in the news when a minor was allegedly gang-raped by five unknown people. The case has been registered under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for abducting and raping the minor.
