Jamshedpur, July 31: In a shocking incident, a headless body of a three-year-old girl was found on Tuesday night in Dhobi Ghat area of Jharkhand's Jamshedpur. The girl went missing from Tatanagar railway station last week, Hindustan Times reported. According to police, the torso of the girl has been sent for post-mortem. It is suspected that the minor was raped as she had injuries on her private parts, Hindustan Times reported. The head is yet to be recovered. The minor was sleeping with her mother at the platform on Thursday when the accused abducted her. The CCTV footage shows the minor sleeping in his arms. "We recovered the headless body of the girl from the bushes in Ramadhin Bagan Tuesday night after Rinku revealed that he had dumped her body and told us the location," police said.

According to cops, Rinku had initially told them that he had handed over the girl to Human trafficking group. On interrogation, he spoke the truth. However, admitted to killing her but insisted that he didn't behead her.
