Srinagar, January 5: In a shocking incident, Five members of a family died due to asphyxiation at their rented accommodation in Bemina area of Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Saturday. According to ANI report, the decreased includes, two children, two women and a male member, were found dead at Mansoor colony today morning. The Family that belonged to Kupwara district in Kashmir were living in rented accommodation. According to the initial police report, the family died due to suffocation because of gas leakage. Earlier in a similar incident from Delhi, four persons died of suffocation after they entered a sewage treatment plant in Moti Nagar area. The victims were rushed to the nearby government hospital where they were declared dead on arrival by doctors. Later, the autopsy report confirmed that victims died after they inhaled toxic gases.
