Srinagar, November 25: The encounter between security forces and terrorists that broke out today, on Sunday morning, has ended with six terrorists shot dead. However, one soldier has been  martyred in the encounter.

The encounter took place in Kapran Batagund area, Shopian district on early Sunday morning.

According to media reports, the security forces have also recovered weapons and ammunition from the site. Jammu & Kashmir: 1 Army Jawan Martyred, 4 Terrorists Gunned Down in Shopian Encounter.

On Tuesday, an Army jawan was martyred in an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian. Four terrorists were gunned down in the encounter.
