Srinagar, November 19: One BSF jawan was martyred, and two others injured in a blast in Samba district on Monday evening, according to reports. Further details are awaited.

On Sunday, August 18, at least three people were killed and 20 left injured in a blast reported on Sunday at Nirankari Bhawan in Rajasansi village of Amritsar district. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved in the blast. The Chief Minister said that possibility of involvement of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)-backed Khalistani or Kashmiri terror groups cannot be ruled out.
