Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists Kill Civilian After Barging Into His House in Pulwama And Abducting Him

According to details by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, investigation suggests Zahoor Thokar and Showkat Dar-led Hizbul Mujahideen are involved in the incident. A case has also been registered.

Jammu, August 13: In a shocking incident, terrorists barged into a resident's house in Pulwama's Murran area on Sunday and abducted him. The resident has been identified as Gulzar Bhat. According to details by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Bhat's bullet-riddled body was recovered from nearby fields. According to a tweet by ANI, an investigation into the matter has been initiated and a case has also been registered.

As per details by Jammu and Kashmir Police, the investigation suggests Zahoor Thokar and Showkat Dar-led Hizbul Mujahideen are involved in the incident.

In a separate internet, a policeman was killed and five other security forces personnel were injured during an encounter with militants in the Batamaloo area of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. The security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Diyarwani in Batamaloo area in the pre-dawn hours of Sunday following which two ultras were arrested.

"On specific information about the presence of terrorists in a hideout, an operation was launched in Batmaloo Srinagar leading to exchange of fire, one SOG boy martyred, one JKP and Two CRPF Jawans sustained injuries, operation continues," informed Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir SP Vaid.

According to Additional Director General of Police (Security and Law and Order) Munir Khan, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Diyarwani in Batamaloo area following specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
