Earlier today, intelligence agencies sounded a fresh alert, warning of more gruesome terror attacks in India near the future. According to a report, intercepts of the phone conversations between the Pakistan-based terror handlers and their operatives in Kashmir has revealed that Jaish-e-Mohammed is planning an attack of a "bigger" magnitude. The intercepts, accessed by TOI, pointed out to conversations in which Jaish operatives said the casualty count would be higher in their next set of attacks. A senior Intelligence official, which spoke to the publication, said the inputs gathered by the agencies indicate the next JeM target could either be Jammu or outside Jammu and Kashmir. This came days after the Pulwama attack of February 14 when an explosives-packed SUV rammed into a bus of a Central Reserve Police Force convoy killing 40 paramilitary troopers on the spot. Recently, a video of a JeM terrorist surfaced wherein he claimed the terror outfit can carry out Pulwama-type attack anytime.
