Jammu and Kashmir: Security Forces Kill 3 Terrorists in Budgam, Encounter Underway
Indian security forces killed three terrorists in Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir and have cordoned the area.
Srinagar, January 21: In a successful encounter in Zinpanchal in Chari Sharief in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces have gunned down three terrorists on Monday. The operation is still in progress, and security forces have cordoned the area.
The encounter broke out in the morning and after the security forces came to know that the terrorists hiding at Budgam, 53 Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF personnel sealed the area. Soon after the intelligence report, the security forces launched the operation. Till now, no casualties have been reported.

Indian security forces retaliated in response. According to the reports, this is the third time in a week that the Pakistani troops have violated ceasefire in the same sector.
Earlier in the past week, Border Security Force’s Assistant Commander Vinay Prasad was martyred when a Pakistani sniper hit him from across the international border.
