Srinagar, April 29: In a major breakthrough for Jammu and Kashmir police, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) module involved in grenade lobbing and explosive planting busted in Awantipora on Monday. According to reports, four people were arrested in various terror activities in Tral and Awantipora area. The module was busted days after a grenade attack on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Pulwama’s Tral area. On April 17, terrorists fired a grenade at the camp, injuring a personnel of the force who was guarding the camp. Meanwhile, in a similar attack by terrorists, a security force personnel was injured in Pulwama town of the state. The terrorists threw a grenade at security force personnel posted on law and order duty in Pulwama town.

Earlier in February in this year, J&K police had also busted a JeM terror module involved in carrying out grenade attacks on the security forces. This module was also responsible for the grenade attack at SBI camp of 179 BN CRPF in Sopore on January 25.
