Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan Violates Ceasefire in Poonch Sector for the Fourth Time in Two Days, Indian Army Retaliates

Jammu, January 9: Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire yet again on Wednesday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. According to a tweet by ANI, this is the fourth ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Poonch sector in the last two days. In a separate incident, a suspected militant was killed in a gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on Tuesday. On Saturday, Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the LoC in the Mankote, Khadi Karmara and Gulpur areas.
