Pooch, September 21: Pakistan on Saturday violated ceasefire in Mendhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Pooch district. The neighbouring nation initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars in Balakote at about 04:15 pm. On Friday, Pakistan violated ceasefire along the LoC in Shahpur and Kerni sectors in Pooch. These violations took place at 09:45 am on September 21. The Pakistani troops had also restored to mortar shelling in Balakote sector of Mendhar Sub Division on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. These violations were strongly retaliated by the Indian forces.
