Kupwara, October 31: A civilian was killed in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on Wednesday. Seven others were also injured in Pakistan’s aggression. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Pakistan violated the ceasefire a day after six non-Kashmiri labourers were killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district. Earlier this month, the Indian Army destroyed four terror launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), killing at least four Pakistani soldiers. The launchpads were destroyed in a counter-attack launched against the ceasefire violation that killed two soldiers and a civilian in Jammu and Kashmir. As per the Army sources, Pakistan resorts to unprovoked ceasefire violation to push terrorists into India.
Recently reports also surfaced that Pakistan had reactivated at least seven terror launch pads along the LoC. The intelligence inputs informed that launchpads were set up Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The maximum number of terrorists have been assembled to infiltrate through the Gurez sector in north Kashmir.
