Jammu, May 10: Security forces gunned down one terrorist in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Friday. According to a tweet by ANI, arms and ammunition have been recovered from the site. Several media reports inform that at least three terrorists are holed up in the area. Earlier this month on May 3, three unidentified militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian. Reports inform that the encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the Imam Sahib area of Shopian following a cordon and search operation in the early hours. As per preliminary information, the militants were affiliated to Hizbul Mujahideen.
