Jammu And Kashmir: Inspector Mohammed Ashraf Dar Killed By Terrorist In Pulwama; Third Attack on Bakra Eid Day
In another attack on police personnel, terrorists have shot dead Inspector Mohammed Ashraf Dar at his residence in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. This the third attack on cops in the state.
Pulwama, August 22: In another attack on police personnel, terrorists have shot dead Inspector Mohammed Ashraf Dar at his residence in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. It is the third attack on cops in the state. Earlier in the day Constable Mohammed Yaqoob and Fayaz Ahmad Shah were killed by terrorists. Yaqoob was shot dead at Pulwama in the evening, and Shah was killed in Kulgam in the morning.
The 34-year-old Fayaz Ahmad Shah outside an Eidgah in Kulgam's Zazripora when he was returning home after offering Eid prayers. Shah was a resident of Zazri Pora village in Kulgam. It is not the first time security personnel from Kashmir. In the recent months, there has been an increase in terror attacks on local policemen in the Kashmir valley.
Last month, a police constable was kidnapped and murdered in Kulgam. In the same month, another police official Javed Ahmad Dar was abducted from his village in Shopian and stabbed to death by suspected terrorists. Similarly, on June 14, An Indian Army Rifleman, Aurangzeb Khan was killed by terrorists in Pulwama when he was on his way to him for celebrating Eid in Poonch.
