Jammu And Kashmir: Indian Army Kills Three Terrorists in Ganderbal Encounter

The Indian Army personnel have neutralised three terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal area. As per the initial forces the encounter took place between the security forces and terrorists in the Naranag village of Ganderbal district.

Srinagar, September 28: The Indian security personnel have neutralised three terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal area. As per the initial forces the encounter took place between the security forces and terrorists in the Naranag village of Ganderbal district.

Adding more information, Indian Army's Northern Command stated that the forces had seized a massive cache of arms and ammunition from the spot. However, till now the Indian Army has confirmed the death of the only terrorist, while the news about the remaining terrorists is from sources. Following the encounter and seize of ammunition, the security forces have cordoned the area and launched a massive search operation in the area. Traffic restrictions have also been imposed as a precautionary measure.

Earlier in the morning, unknown terrorists hurled a grenade on troops and escaped in Botote area of Kashmir. Security forces carried out search operations and cornered terrorists, who took a civilian as a hostage. He has been rescued and the firing is underway. Also, terrorists hurled grenade on Central Reserve Police Force troops in Safakadal of Srinagar on Saturday. No loss of life has been reported as of now.
